At Mashed08, a two-day hack event sponsored by the BBC, a team from BBC Research and Development presented the Audio Visualisation tool on a touchscreen that uses a spiral visualisaton to depict the last two hours of a radio service. The spiral is updated in real time, and the touch screen gives us a one-hour 'listen again' service. You can see the white paper here
